Pintar como una tía.


Enero es el mes que me parece más eterno de todo el año. Esa espera entre las fiestas de fin de año y las obligaciones laborales o académicas que se anhelan de regreso de alguna forma, aprendemos a amar la piedra en el zapato, y que se ven con terror acercarse. En esa clase de enero me encuentro y he decidido que mataré su parsimonia con arte. A diario estaré haciendo algo, bien sea un dibujo rápido o inclusive rayas y círculos. La idea es no dejar los huesos y ojos descansar mucho rato, que de por sí ya llevan un buen tiempo descansando.

Ayer comencé una pintura que tenía en la lista de cosas por hacer que aunque disfruté mucho haciéndola por un par de horas, tan pronto como me aleje para descansar y respirarla me gritó ¡ERROR! , por todas partes. Y es que todo estaba mal. No era un mal trabajo, pero sí una mala obra, una mala pintura. Andaba lo que me atrevo a llamar - y lo digo con todo el amor - pintando como una tía.


La mala pintura de una foto muy hermosa de mi hijo con un sombrero gigante en un fin de semana maravilloso con amigos y con el sol. El sombrero es tan grande que parece un sol detrás de él y se ve en un trasfondo un par de arbustos y palmeras y un cielo azul profundo. Y tal cual la empecé a pintar yo en un retablo bastante grande con toda la imagen del rostro de mi chiquí en el centro, haciendo una muy mala representación con acrílicos de su expresión algo melancólica y no muy feliz de cargar con el sombrero.

La alarma, creó, la encendió mi actual estatus académico. No han pasado en vanos los semestres de clase de pintura, pues todo me decía que la ubicación de la imagen tan céntrica perdía completamente peso y era una composición bastante mala. Así ha evolucionado a conmemorar la edad en la que mi hijo llevaba el sol a su espalda y nos calentaba a todos los que con él compartimos esa tarde en pandemia decembrina.

I love my beautiful Colombia. I'm 100% proud of said: I'm Colombian and that Colombia is a great country, with lots of faces, both good and bad. Ghost friends

When I was a single woman if after a couple of dates with a guy he started to not call me, nor to appear on the weekends, we were over. No more dating and not even care about that boy anymore. I'll take him out of the key chain! and eventually move on. I'll still talk with him from time to time, but I'll no care.  Now, What to do with a ghost friend? the type of friend that is never around, and when is around is because is "connivance" for him. That friend you feel you can not ask for anything because you never know what to expect. That friend that just call you when is single again.
